Wanting To Be Different

THEY WALK AROUND AIMLESSLY.
IN SEARCH OF THEIR OWN IDENTITY.

BONDING WITH OTHERS WHO POISON THEIR THOUGHTS.
FORGETTING EVERYTHING, THEY WERE TAUGHT.

NEEDING TO FEEL THEY JUST BELONG.
EVEN WHEN THEY KNOW THEY'RE WRONG.

NEVER HAVING LOOKED INWARD.
THEIR CONSCIOUS THOUGHTS WILL GO UNHEARD.

SEVERAL YEARS WILL PASS THEM BYE.
BEFORE THE OPENING OF THEIR EYES.

WHEN THEY REALIZE IT WAS ALL IN VEIN.
THEY SEE THEMSELVES HAVING BEEN INSANE.

FEELING THE NEED TO RIGHT THE WRONG.
THEY PASS THE STORY OF FAILURE ALONG.

SOME WILL LISTEN. SOME WILL LAUGH.
OTHERS WILL IGNORE AND THEIR LIVES WILL CRASH.

A VISCIOUS CYCLE, THAT GOES ROUND AND ROUND.
THROUGH OUT THE WORLD IN EVERY TOWN.
