Wanted: A piece of me

I loved you More than you could ever love me I wanted you happy And so I did everything in my power Trying to turn it into reality We are puzzle pieces New, untouched pieces Bound to fit in perfectly And yet, you chose to give it up All I can do now is pray Pray that you find your other untouched side That fits so tightly You'll be glad you gave up Am I just an statistic? Or do I have the value I deserve? You were my priority But between all the gifts You convinced me Convinced that we would be forever And at that exact moment You earned a piece of me You were no longer my priority You had become a necessity And before I could enjoy You ran away Without prior notice Slammed the door and ran as fast as you could. Not even returning what belonged to me Now I was without you and a piece of me You loved me so much But what I love you is something you will never understand The sunset is so pretty And I still don't like the moon
