I want to love but I'm haunted by goodbye
I want forever but scared of it's over
I want to be touched but afraid of missing
I want to be kissed but afraid of never
I want to be someone's heart that causes it
To beat the feeling they are falling while
Standing on their feet
I want my wounds to heal and begin to feel
Feel loving arms around me and a hand to
Hold
A life only the luckiest ones have told
I want you forever more to see me who
I was before
Shelter me from the pain show me it's okay
To love again
To be touched and feel you to be kissed as though
It was all I ever knew I just want you
