Want

I want a guy 
That can look me in the eye 
Look me in the eye and see 
That with him is where I need to be
I should feel the passion in his hands
As he holds me
When we dance 
He doesn't have to say a word 
His feelings have already been heard 
He shows me what it's like 
To be his morning light 

I want something real 
Not fake 
Who can relate 
I want something 
Real and true 
The feeling I feel when in with you 

There comes a time 
When you have to stop 
Keep climbing that ladder 
Get to the top 
You need your soulmate 
Your friend 
To help you from beginning to end 
Times get tough 
The patches get rough 
But we are supposed to help each other 
Through this kind of stuff 
It's a new beginning 
With a new person 
Stop looking back in the past 
Your pass was not working
Your future is front of you 
Don't mess up 
I got you you got me 
No longer stuck 
We get better with time 
The clock finally struck 
I'm like a lucky charm
The good luck 
I'm like the book 
Baby turn the page 
You like the cover 
The illustration
You are my best meditation

I want something real 
Not fake 
Who can relate 
I want something 
Real and true 
The feeling I feel when in with you

Tell me what 
It's going to be
