Wanderlust

I do not know why one day in my house porch Some bees started wandering off, Why? Why? The first was not back and then another and another Enough, enough, to form three groups. Those who stayed there and guard the hive Those who make the royal jelly to feed the queen Those with great brains go out in search Each vanishing, wandering in the wilderness. Forgot what it was they were after Having known once, now a blank drawn. No one to go home, no home, no memory of home Stumbling into some optional world. The hive dies, each of them goes down No sign left of the hive or of the bees. +++ August 15, 2014 Form: Free Verse Dr. Ram Mehta Contest: Wanderlust by nette onclaud

If true it is good that they forgot where to come to for they are dangerous for all and especially for those allergic..Reads like a winner..Some people are like those bees and have the wanderlust..Sara
