Wandering Through the Woods
As the silence slowly crept up,
From the lonesome woods so dark,
A chill ran from my spine all the way up,
As on the lonely journey I embark.
From the lonesome woods so dark,
I heard a quaint cry.
As on this lonely journey I embark,
A wisp of mist descends from the sky.
I heard a quaint cry,
On a whim I decided to follow.
A wisp of mist descends from the sky,
Making the forest seem even more hollow.
On a whim I decided to follow,
The eerie path that ran through.
Making the forest seem even more hollow,
As the emptiness around me grew.
The eerie path that ran through,
Guiding me to a place well known.
As the emptiness around me grew,
I get the feeling of being all alone.
Guiding me to a place well known,
The path that leads me, to me.
I get the feeling of being all alone,
And there is no one for as far as the eye can see.
The path that leads me, to me.
Had a chill running from my spine up,
And there is no one for as far as the eye can see,
As the silence slowly crept up.
