Wanderer of the Distant Cosmos

Life slips away.
I slip away, too.

I draw a dark curtain,
For my daughter and my son.

I make my final confession:
"I am sorry."

"Eat this roasted meat!"
"Hurry."

"Dad," "I love you."

In the fleeting taste of heaven found in prayer,
A war unknown to us
Turned us into final ashes.

My daughter,
My homeland,
And I—

"You no longer survive on this Earth.
Where are you, you ask?

Open your eyes, and you see;
Close your eyes, and you see nothing more.

You can be neither zero nor one."

"You are a wanderer, drifting through the distant cosmos!"
