Waltz With Fate

Mysteries have their hidden truths
Challenges have their approach
People have their flaws
Enemies have their weaknesses

But how do you stand up to fate?

What happens when fate decides
That he doesn't like you?

What's the best strategy
When you know all your adversary's moves
And know that you are totally defenseless to them?

Now that I can see the cliff edge
And I can feel the push,
I will fight it
With every fist and knee and tooth and nail
I will writhe and scream like a madman
Clawing at the inevitable
Eating away at my sanity
Then at the very end
Right at the edge of the fall
I'll turn around and jump
Reach for the sun
And wait for my wings

Because falling in and falling down
Don't go together.

Even if I lose, I won't let you win.
No chance in Hell.
