Walls

Oh Dear,
Oh so familiar walls,
what would you say
about the people
you've had come to stay.

You've been here
from the very start.
You've seen people come
and you've seen lots depart.

I bet you could tell
a tale or two
about the people
you've had passing through.

Oh Dear walls,
what would you say about me?
Whatever you'd say,
I hope you'd say lovingly.

Interesting thoughts Jenny if only walls could speak - what a tale they would have to tell. Reminds me of Shirley Valentine:-) hugs jan xx
