Walls

Words flow, senses heightened
Buried emotions rise, enough to frighten
Souls unite, desires flare
Passion unbridled, fate wouldn’t dare

Truth damning, cold and unkind
Hurtfull moments, seared to mind
Fading pleasure, destined to end
Trapped by truth, struggle within

Darkness approaches, destiny so near
Painful reminders, validate the fear
Unfulfilled needs, emptiness abound
Darkness approaches, closing in…all around

We do Olive, we build walls so we don't hurt. But what happens when the walls actually prevent us from attaining unparalleled happiness? I think many of us sabotage ourselves by building these walls. The possability of love is greater than the chance of being hurt. I say take a chance :) Cheers! Your friend, Jason
