Walking Weatherman

Football claimed my left knee. Softball took my right. As painful as both can be, They signal... What might be out of sight. If one begins to tighten, And the other remains the norm, There is nothing there to frighten, As it will probably be... Just a passing storm. When both start to ache, But only when trying to move, Keep eyes peeled for a drop or flake, Look ahead... Conditions might improve. If each are feeling pain, Especially when sitting down, All outside plans will be in vein, Be careful... Don't travel out of town. 08/16/17

it's a contest entry. I thought about going the serious route, but my playful side couldn't resist musing about my internal barometers.
