Walking Through the Meadow

Walking through the meadow when spring is in the air
With the mist of the dew falling soft upon your hair
Just to breath the morning freshness is peaceful there’s no doubt
Hand in hand we walk together and that’s what it’s all about
If tomorrow brings the sunshine and another spring like day
We’ll both go hand in hand in the world that is displayed
But summertime still waits and winter’s still in the air
With snowflakes gently falling and resting upon our hair
The winds of winter’s blowing now and shivers enter in
But memories are what we make them with places we have been
Let’s go walking in the meadow when spring is drawing nigh
Let it fill us with true love and make us laugh and sigh
Tis such a dream that we beckon, tis such a dream we share
Holding to each other as the wind blows through our hair
Trudging through the meadow when the snow is rising high
And falling gently down from way up in the sky
We’re alone in the snow with no thought of anywhere
Just walking in the meadow when spring is in the air
