Walking Through the City

The cool breeze on my skin
As I wander through the street
Listening closely to the sound
Of the city's breath and heart beat

People's lives intersecting
Briefly touching, passing by
Contact as evanescent
As snowflakes on alluring fire

Nice write. I like your use of a metaphor. That shows talent.
