Walking In the Rain

Cool November day gains watch the leafy colors change as time too easily begins to slip away, peach amber colors falling from display, tawny striped wrens and sparrows happily in the flow anticipating the arrival of winter cold and snow, but in this moment beneath gray floating clouds come drops of rain between falling canopy shrouds blanketing the leaves wet and damp, where shadows fade and disappear with seasonal stamps in the autumn time of year beneath the harvest moon you can walk safe, sheltered between the drops of mid-afternoon.
