Walking Down the Street With You
i've been telling you
i love you,
always thinking of you,
you're the only one i need
to make it through the storm.
the words are coming up
and spewing out like high school
but only ever when i'm alone.
i can't say just what you mean to me.
maybe soon, i'll be telling you the truth.
floating in your space and i am free
and there'll be nothing to dispute.
from the moment you found me,
i've been building up a city in my mind.
i've filled it with angels and halos
just so you could feel how i do
when i'm walking down the street with you.
