Walking Down That Lonely Road

Walking down that lonely road

Walking down that lonely road

Without having someone to hold

That can make you feel loved

And wanted and needed gets really old

Because all you’ve
ever
wanted from anyone

Is to be loved and appreciated by one person

But after your heart has truly been broken

There is a part of you that is naturally afraid

That there may be a chance
that you will get hurt again

When you finally do find someone new to love

Walking down that lonely road

Without having someone to hold

That can make you feel loved

And wanted and needed gets really old
