Walking Away From Hate

In this country of one’s mind east and west are so defined, warring factions ne’er at peace forked tongue steeped in caprice, pounding within one’s brain mental image a constant pain. So please let one strive to rove amongst the evergreen grove, to a remembrance that drove one to the rugged coastal cove, to an interaction that wove in one’s implicit treasure trove! © Harry J Horsman 2012

It's amazing how love lives on even when a nation is at war, Harry. As you say so eloquently, all we need to do is walk "away from hate." Awesome! Love, carolyn

Good day, Harry! Oh, have you ever read or looked at an image where you can smell or taste what's portrayed? I suppose I might be an oddball, for I caught a whiff of pine needles in "the evergreen cove", making this a "treasure trove" for me. Hope all's well with you! Love, Mikki

well, it says "of one's mind" so I suppose you simply meant mental conflict!

wow, lots of monorhyming going on at the end of this one. Great job with the challenge, harry. Is the first part of this a reference to the fighting between Ireland and England? Was just curious, because I've always been curious about the conflict over there.
