			tear at my heart
						fibers ripping
	
	individually,

				separating

		
			without knowledge
					

							without cause

….tortured	
			
			by the pain

					
						of reason’s doubt

Eve, the form - or at least the set-up of the lines - is an attempt to convey the tearing and separation - the doubt....the walking away.
