Walkies

I could go anywhere with my walkie
I’m talking walkie talkie
long before I knew I needed a dog

(anxiety is funny that way
striking when you want to play
locked in a cage with your brain set to flog)

I could go anywhere and talk to anyone
else paralyzed sitting alone on my bum
sorry this poem sucks I have to go walk my dog

Thanks Maureen. This I'd a good one. Got me chuckling. Pulling my can attached to a string trying to teach you, not realizing your can is on your dog's leash; so, sporadically I hear you when he pulls harder to walk faster.

Thank you Paula! Perhaps your right pet will find you! I saw a documentary about dogs recently, the narrator said that the dog’s super power is love. I am inclined to believe it ;), Have a lovely day! xomo

Very humorous insights, MM! This poem is so bosom suckable. lol. You are the poetess of cool. Your ink splash makes these puppy pupils drool. You drip style w/wet towel vowel whip attitude. Keep those good vibes coming, lady. Love and more love always.

I always knew I needed pets (dogs and cats, since I don't have room for goats or horses) Walking dogs is good for your mental health, I've heard, so go for it!

I would so have goats and horses. Finding a dog this year was like trying to find toilet paper last year. It took me over 3 months, and I nearly lost my mind, the day after I broke down and asked my hon to ask for his bud’s backyard breeder failed spinning german shepherd, I got the call, THANK GAWD ;), xomo!

Too many Americans believe walking their dog is putting it in a baby stroller . . . .

I say the difference between big dogs and little dogs is the owners.
