Walk With Me To the Gym
Walk with me to the gym and do the African spin; walk with me to the gym and I will show you where it all begins. The love for money, the love for culture has found its way to the bush doctor, a little tip on his hip, and a little slit with a knife with some medicine in the wound stitched up in the side.
The world is part of the initiation sacrifice and the mark on the body from their youth has grown into a tree that fills up the entire valley. Come with me to the gym and you will learn something.
Come with me to the gym and I will teach you s few things, you see those people working out over there? They have something unique to share. They run for an hour every morning and then work out at the gym to build their muscle; they punch with their arm and lift weights before dawn. Their diet is well worked out and in the evening, they like to dance and shout. They can cook up a storm and they can really make you happy.
Look at that one sliding on the bar, he can walk steadily without a fall, and keep his balance on the bridge. They call him the striker and he play for another team, you must watch his style while you dream. He can jump and prance dilly and slide, his dive is wide and his landing is sturdy.
Once he gets the ball, he will make you run for your soul, but you have got to be bold if you want to score goal. His feet are sharp as a lion, has giraffe legs that can catapult over a gigantic bed.
Every game you play is different and every goal you shoot has to spring from the back of your shoe. Some people’s bodies are strong because they eat dodo and yam ; don’t chase the ball around the field find a comfortable spot to play around until you are ready for that perfect shot.
Remember, Achilles heels are vulnerable so stay out of trouble; don’t let anyone kick you on your foot or the boogie man will drag you in the bush.
One thing I know for sure temperament can lead you through the door, focus is the key when I want to fulfill my destiby. I can stand in the middle of the road and horns are honking at me from every corner, I can block out the distraction and write a good story and stay on course.
If you can break my focus and get me to start thinking about money and the challenges I have to face, you can get many balls at the back of the net. You must distract me, break my focus and do everything in a hurry; I am not talking about speed, just hurry, it’s a form of urgency, you must get that rhythm in your body.
