Walk With Me
Walk with me
Walk with me on a quiet pristine beach
See the horizon beckon to a sun out of reach
Watch seagulls at play in the cool crisp air
The south wind gentle its tranquillity rare
White foam dancing on a propelling wave
Its coolness flirting with your feet so brave
Maybe by now all your senses are numb
Let not that deter you walk with me come
Walk with me on a stony elevated trail
Crossing a brook meandering through a dale
Cool inviting water good enough to drink
Awesome panorama and sounds all in sync
A rabbit in its burrow hiding from the cold
Walk with me I’ll help you carry that load
Walk with me as the sun bids us farewell
And the moon says my turn I’m alive and well
A myriad of stars silently majestically appear
An owl says good evening with a hoot so clear
Then a subtle change I hear it, the sound of rain
Walk with me I may not walk this way again
