Walk With Me

Caught up in the wrong crowd.
Wondering how do I get out?
Stealing, lying and drugs isn't me now.
These guys are my friends and pals.
They were there when all else failed.
They believed in me like no one else,
Standing at a cross road
Which way do I go?
What will it be like with out this world?
Can I make it on my own?
With as scary as this may seem,
I know my welcome is way over due.
So now I walk with you.
Hand in hand you'll guide my way
as I try a different path today.

Follow your heart, Cory. Given the choices here, I think you know that breaking free from friends like these is the way to go. Very good poem! Love, Carolyn

We are own best friends. Rise up slowly or you'll get the bendz. The past can leave you all alone. Sitting and waiting for the ring of the phone. But I once new a man who thought he was pathetic. Left alone with his thoughts, became quite prophetic. Walk on! :)

My son was caught up in bad friends and ways. He pulled out by leaving it behind. Most of the others who stayed behind never did. Several were gone within a year.
