Walk With Me

Walk with me oh dear brother, through the perilous alleys of a once prosperous land
Speak to me oh dear sister for I long to hear a woman’s outlook
Our people die of ignorance as the same lies are fed to them
The world watches on as fools deprive us of our rights…leaving us with nothing valuable in return
Our brightest minds are either too afraid to speak or paid to be mimes
The rich and powerful prey on the majority: the poor who are left with no choice but to follow…blissfully
In an effort to access the most basic of needs…thus starving the republic of true leaders
Walk with me dear brother for I am a saddened by what seems to be a failing Africa!
