Walk the Walk

when we meet
after a long space of time
i do not want to talk
i do not want to whine
when i see you comming
that will be the smile on my face
then i'll come a running
for that long awaited embrace
i'll hold you in my arms
and i'll never let you go
i'll press your face to mine
and let my passions flow
i'll close my eyes and open my mouth
and taste your waiting lips
i'll rub my hands all over your body
for surely it was missed
i'll kiss you once
i'll kiss you twice
i'll kiss you a thousand times
i'll let my spirit join to yours
in oneness with our lives
then i'll whisper sacred words
just between you and me
i'll let you see the tears
some of pain and some of so happy
so when i see you next time
i don't want to talk
i said what i had to say
it's time to walk the walk

From the comments below, I'm guessing this was written for Charlene. (Just a guess!) Wish we could all have someone who loves us as passionately as you, John. This poem will sweep her off her feet! Great energy here. Love, Carolyn

I'll let my spirit join to yours in oneness with our lives. So beautiful John and a truely romantic phrase.
