Walk The Tightrope
Eyes are set on the goal,
The mind remains focused,
Nothing around brings joy to the heart,
Nothing around brightens the day.
The meadow blooms at the end,
Joy stands at the close of the mile,
Courage keeps the feet on the lane,
Hope strengthens our steps.
Each day comes in a variety of ways,
Tendrils extend from its source,
The onus is ours to seek the right path,
The one blessed by the day,
The one favoured by the elements.
The sages tell us that courage and hope steady our footing on the tightrope,
Life is a mystery that invites us to tread its path,
This mystery is a door that leads to the unseen,
And the unseen is the chamber that holds the treasure,
We walk on the tightrope toward this treasure.
