Walk of Fame

Do you stand out or do you just blend in
What is the name of your game?
Do you exude confidence and self esteem
Or is humility your claim to fame?

One of those well known shrinking violets
Sitting all by yourself in the bar
Watching the whole world pass you by
Envying the dance from afar

Take heart my friend, there's place for us all
In the overall scheme of things
You may not have star on the Walk of Fame
But you make your friendships sing

Back in the old days, times were different
But one thing that hasn't changed
Those gentle souls have always be there 
To count on come sunshine or rain

Do you stand out or do you just blend in
What is the name of your game?

Half the time I just wanna be a background character, while at the same time I wanna be the center of attention... I suppose as long as you have friends (real ones) than you should be doing fine. Good poem!

The one that everyone tries not to see.... They look thru you at the mall... until Dragon tries to follow me into a store... Small isles are DEFINATELY NOT for him... LOL... You have a great name of your game Jack...many say I have a good one (name of my game) for myself, I wouldn't know for certain, but I try to be the best person that I can be! Like you we both reach out to people and do our best to help! We dance to the music of life, but with an uptempo and joyful step! This is a wonderful poem my friend!
