Walk By Grinning

No recollection necessary
Of this obscene attempt of fate
Forgetful and absent minded
Of a memory best to fade away
May be best to crown yourself in ignorance
As this grudge is a bad idea and you
Should eventually let it go
Move on with you r life abut remember
The lessons you have learned
Definitely not a treasure worthy of any more vile attention
And likely an obsession to overcome
Danger could lie behind these eyes
And payment with bruises and mental anguish
Certainly not worth your time

Obviously you see the silver lining
Perhaps curiously enchanted by its promising luster
If these cats could they would tell you
The only thing drawing it to you is the hope
That you will rehabilitate and learn faster
Senselessly brave and trusting the popular illusion to buy into
Discrediting yourself with what debt to believe
Selfishness and self-preservation
Advise you to walk away from this meaningless
Abused of suffered celebration
