Walk By Faith

I’m standing on the edge of a world gone wild I feel so helpless, like a little lost child. There are sticks and rods being poked at me My thoughts are running and I can hardly see. You pour out your heart of all these fantasies You’re making me nervous just look at my knees! You were my confidante, sister, and friend You were the one person who I knew I could depend. What happened to you? Are you feeling alright? Your thoughts you tell me, my soul is trying to fight! I feel all alone in a chattering crowd I feel like I’m floating on a soft fluffy cloud. While everyone around is screaming and yelling “Don’t pay attention,” myself I am telling. I’m floating through, to where, I don’t know But all I can do is just go with the flow. I’m making them mad by feeling so numb I’m doing my work but feeling so dumb. I’m starting to panic for my vision is gone! But by Your love and grace, You’re helping me along. My eyes are watering and my heart is racing My chest is hurting, and my thoughts are pacing. Then all of a sudden my composure is calm I open my Bible to read 40 Psalm. Please hold my hand for I don’t know where I’m going But my faith is in You, for You are All-Knowing.
