Walk Away
I look at friends that have been married 30 years or more,
They seem so happy and blessed with their grandkids to adore.
Now I’m divorced… is it because I chose the wrong one?
He was the stars, the moon, and my rising sun.
I look back, and try to sweep the bad things under the rug,
But God saw the heartache, and decided to pull the plug.
Everything happens for a reason, so they say…
Sometimes the only thing you can do is walk away.
