Walk Alone

WALKING ALONE,
TRAFFIC PASSING ME BYE;

PICK UP MY PACE,
HEAD LIGHTS BLINDING MY EYES;

QUICKEN MY STEPS,
HORNS HUNKING AT ME;

STOP AT THE STOP LIGHT,
A CROWDS UP THE STREET;

DANCING AND SINGING,
HAVING BIG FUN;

SHOULD I KEEP WALKING,
OR SHOULD I JUST RUN;

WALK RIGHT PASS THE CROWD,
STRAIGHT INTO MY HOUSE;

GET MYSELF TOGETHER,
HURRY BACK OUT;

GO OVER TO THE CROWD,
INTRODUCE MYSELF;

I HAVE MANY A EVENING TO,
WALK BY MYSELF.
