Waking Up To Life

Waking up to life!

I wish, I wake up in your arms
'everyday', or you in mine;
Even the thought of a prospect,
makes my life seem fine!

A deep breath fill my lungs
with December morning chill,
More than that, it is your thought
that it permeates and fill!

Drifting into sheer awareness,
of your presence, though distant;
Reinvigorates, every atom and
every molecule, the very instant!

Environment in which we discovered,
our love may seem strange;
But, it is the essence of that love,
so unique there ain't any range!

Days aren't far when the seeming
distance is negated - on its own;
Time, space and identity gone,
our spirit together alone!

Pre-occupied world - materialistic,
always in an ongoing strife;
You and I as one - in contented bliss
have woken up to life!
