Wake Up Oh Pilgrim

Stupor pays a heavy cost,
for with soul awareness lost,
ignorance results in grief,
until we turn a new leaf.

Trapped outside but free within,
silence the way to begin,
whereupon ego recedes;
we follow, pulse of love leads.

Soul’s light, hitherto concealed,
is in timeless time revealed,
within our heart, where God dwells.
Hark ye not yet, bliss beat bells?

Great poem. Philosophy beyond my brain. I should have gone into sanyas some 20 years ago to understand this.

The truth is immediate and intimate. We only need to get out of our own way by being still, mind rested, heart aglow.

It is God who loves us. We can never understand His mysteries. We must love Him above all.

To love God without hypocrisy, we must know in definitiveness. Otherwise God is only a mental idea, a concept. Silence and surrender alone can reveal the truth. When we see, we know, otherwise we do not.
