Wake Up

wake up
 covers of shame

 blacked out lights
 of grief

 doors closed
 leading to life

 trapped in your
 mind of doubt

 hungry bellies
 wanting a taste

 of a glimpse of it
 memories of the feast

 once eaten long ago
 the battle rages on

 wake up sleeping
 people
our life is at the door

 open it and it will
 come in a life

 beyond all
 understanding

 turn the knob
 open the door

 wake up
