Wake Up

Verse 1:
Everything is going so far down
Yet, nobody is even hearing a sound
They want to make it seem like everything’s fine
Masking the fact that their fates are intertwined

Chorus:
Wake up, Wake up
Why are you so far gone
Wake up, Wake up
You’ve been blinded for far too long
Wake up, Wake up
I can’t sit back and watch this anymore
Judgement is so close, yet you are so far gone

Verse 2:
Still a fool for the girl next door
I could’ve told you so
Now she’s left you on the floor
But you just had to go that low

Chorus
Wake up, Wake up
Why are you so far gone
Wake up, Wake up
You’ve been blinded for far too long
Wake up, Wake up
I can’t sit back and watch this anymore
Judgement is so close, yet you are so far gone

Verse 3:
You still seek for this power and greed
Not caring where it leads
Chasing such an empty need
Even though you’ll never succeed
This is one path that will never let you free
Now despair is all you’ll ever see

Chorus
Wake up, Wake up
Why are you so far gone
Wake up, Wake up
You’ve been blinded for far too long
Wake up, Wake up
I can’t sit back and watch this anymore
Judgement is so close, yet you are so far gone

Verse 4:
Where is the love that once was
I look at the world and wonder what was the cause
This hate has created demons within us
I look above and pray
And tell God we need him to stay
Look what we’ve done

Chorus:
Wake up, Wake up
Why are you so far gone
Wake up, Wake up
You’ve been blinded for far too long
Wake up, Wake up
I can’t sit back and watch this anymore
Judgement is so close, yet you are so far gone

Wake up!
Wake up!
Wake up!
And Look at what we’ve done!
