Wake Up

Wake up! I'm calling you Wake up! Why aren't you even stirring when I touch you? Your eyes are fixed in their gaze They seem happy, looking at my face Wake up! Are your sleeping? Wake up! Can't you see me crying? I am touching your face that's wet with my tears Tears streaming down the white shroud you are wearing But why are you ignoring my wails of sorrow Without you, do you think I have a tomorrow?? Wake up! Can't you hear me scream? Is this some kind of crazy dream? Why aren't you responding to my pitiful cries Will you wake up if I promise not to cry??? Hey!Where are they taking you? Hey!Wake up!I need you Show these people that you are alive, these aren't games Are they consigning you to flames? Oh God! I'm going crazy, aren't I? Cos there isn't a chance that I could ever see you die They took you away from me and returned me an urn The world burned you, now it's my turn to burn
