Wake Me Sunlight, I'M Waiting

So i will sit like a sparrow on a power line,
just patiently waiting for the sunlight
to wake me up and save me.....
save me from these dying times.
Because this land is loseing color
and these trees they bare their bones.
i am just waiting for the summer
maybe by then i will have a place
to call home.

Nice write Talea! Love your reference to the sparrow - it sits on the power line but at the end of the day it's a survivor. Nice!
