Wake Me

Wake Me

Somebody wake me from this dream

                        This nightmare that I live...

Somebody shake me 'else I scream

                        Lost in this silent sieve...

Somebody take me from this stream

                        I'm drowning in my drib...

Somebody wake me from this dream

                        This fractured Adam's Rib.

Sometimes the reality is worse than a nightmare! ... I'm glad you liked the limericks... I'm working on something else you might like (no limerick though), might take a while... Terry

Cute one..I got a chuckle..I don't know if you meant it that way..Yes, man is not whole anymore without a woman to complete him for he has something missing..So Adam has a fractured rib that hasn't healed...Thanks for stopping by..I had a terrible experience with a Jellyfish sting..I hope that your son's family know that they can still sting even when dead..Those barbs will shoot out with their poison..I have never heard of anyone eating Jellyfish or having one in a tank..Sara

Yuppers, just checked. Dorothy Parker. If you haven't perused her fab poetry, I suggest you do. I think you'd enjoy her style, wit and insight.

Okay, now that is MINT. So very much in so little. SILENT SIEVE? Fantastic. This reminds me of .... hmmm.... is it Dorothy Parker? Hmmmm... will have to get back to you. Do you read her? If I'm right, you'd dig her groove :) Cyndi
