Waiting To Be Free

It’s impossible; it will never work
I’ll never get over him; what a jerk.

He’s got me under; his stupid spell
And all this time; I’ve wanted to yell.

With his hair, those eyes; and that perfect smile
He could make; any girl go wild.

As he stands there; in his plain white shirt
A bunch of girls come; ready to flirt.

When I see him; it hurts so much
Sometimes I wish; this was just a crush.

He makes my heart race; yet tears me apart
I’d cry all night; just over a broken heart.

I guess people are right; when they say
“When you’re in love; you have to pay.”

Sadly the price; is too much for me
So I’ll keep on waiting; until he sets my heart free.
