Waiting Room

Radical reliance on the ultimate unknown,
Only scarcely awake by its soft under-tone.
Lonely antiques; only now in demand,
Losing their value with each passing hand.
Peppered with sugar to prolong the pretence,
Examining a lifetime and its final expense.
Another slice of the mind to be prodded and poked,
The face of dilemma has now been revoked
Solitary silence in an elegant stance,
Chaotic clarity with one last glorious glance.

Fine write Kellie Anne, great imagery, and fine expression too. Welcome to PS, hope you're enjoying it here, and great to welcome a fellow Brit. Blessings, Gordon
