Waiting For Your Love
Waiting for your love
I counted the pages lining sunset.
Recalling the cold depleted wind all morning.
For the night dew to pay its dues I waited.
To drench my soul with news.
The stars my lone companion
Hang with me a suspense
Tireding to maintain
Yet curiosity
Remained.
Sane.
In the hollowness of a lone soul.
Howling wounded
Ricocheting
From stars to stars
Hiding from Pluto to Mars.
Signal less like a broken radio
Waiting for its frequency to be connected
But its hijacked and diverted, because it never came...
