Waiting For You

Never did I entertain such a dark outcome in the pursuit of my dream with you. I held you so dear, my trust in you so deep harbored such high regard and I watched you part screamed inside had to let you decide felt tied, chained by the word that I knew and my eyes wouldn't, yet couldn't turn away. I could have killed him with my bare hands but couldn't let defeat enter my dream, now my sorrow so complete. And I wait, like a breath of fresh air inside the recess of your mind, and I wait Like a spring scented air that blows softly inside your heart, for the day, long awaited of your return. © 09.21.12

Damn, I understand this feeling. Love shall overcome. The ending hit me quite personally. Excellent job!

Ummm...Okay! I confess!... I got a SERIOUS crush on you too!..That smile of yours makes me week in the knees...Are you married? If not, I'm sure some lucky guy has already swept you off your feet....Mercy me, what am I DOING??...I'm gonna hate myself in the morning!...

Caroline Cecile Delacroix!...Where the heck have you been?... Were you here all the time and I just over-looked you?? Please don't take offense...but this poem and the other ones I read are FAR different (and much more compelling) than what you've been posting on Facebook!...So glad to be back in touch, my good friend! - Tim
