Waiting For the Sun

As the storms rage on, you’ll close your eyes
Hands folded in prayer, waiting for the sun.
Conflict will come and the floods will rise
As the storms rage on, you’ll close your eyes
A storm filled with hate and bloodshed and lies
Life’s clouds will part, and battles will be won
As the storms rage on, you’ll close your eyes
Hands folded in prayer, waiting for the sun.
