Waiting For The Phone To Ring

I'm sitting here waiting for a call
A call that will likely change it all
Put an end to all this pain
And make my days normal again

I'm sitting here waiting for a call
Into the 4th year of my health being poor
At the mercy of a broken system
But a human life is at stake, not that they listen

I'm sitting here waiting for a call
Is it surgery, medicine, feeding tube or more?
Begging for help, self esteem at a low
But the doctor I'm under is soo slow

I'm sitting here waiting for a call
Bipolar coming through, making me feel small
Panic attacks and poor sleep
Sometimes it's my maker I wish I would meet

I'm sitting here waiting for a call
This illness has become my wall
I sit alone everyday
Just wishing someone could take this pain away

I'm sitting here waiting for a call
Sat here believing its not only the mighty who fall
Thinking about how alone I feel
This illness only mine to heal

I'm sitting here waiting for a call
Please phone ring, I need this call
Life will be mine to reclaim
And that will be the end of this cruel game

I'm sitting here waiting for a call
But nobody's ringing, I'm all alone
I'm sitting here waiting for a call
But how much longer can I wait for

I'm sitting here waiting for a call
But nobody's ringing, I'm all alone

I'm sitting here waiting for a call
Please phone ring, i need this call

I'm sitting here waiting for a call
I'm still waiting, but for what for?
