Waiting For the Morning's Eye

at dawn i wait for the morning's eye
to confirm the fact that you told a lie

the funeral is set to take place today
you have been like an advanced tornado to my heart in a vast array

my black suit is laid out and my self esteem is weak
never did i think that this later on would be so bleak

nobody brings flowers to this bland dark cloud event
like me, they welcome this dreadful day of your descent

karma is like blowing out a joke candle where the light returns
if you are careless enough with the candle, everything you consider free burns
