Waiting for the Horizon
I have waited here for ages,
Watching the world drift quietly by.
Faces pass like shadows
Each one only a fleeting passerby.
Life moves like a restless train,
Rolling through miles I cannot see.
The destination feels distant,
Yet with every moment, it draws nearer.
Still I stand upon this journey
Where hope, patience, hardwork, luck and becoming converge.
Between the life I know and the life I am reaching for.
Though my eyes cannot yet see the horizon
My soul knows I am already on my way.
