Waiting For the Fleet

WAITING FOR THE FLEET

                              ..... Dawning....

                               Yellow whispers....

                               Another day I wait,

Entreat the winds of salty spray--

                              .....Come home....

Gosh Victoria - I can't stop reading your poems today. This one begs to be read over and over ... each time stunning. Like the widow walk or a vigil for all the lost loved ones. love, Kathy

Kathryn...sometimes I feel truly that I have lived these lives before...or if not, I have somehow touched through time to feel the sorrow and hope combined.....
