Waiting For Love
On lifted wing I hear a seagulls’ mournful cry
It pierces my soul as I watch a tranquil evening sky
Between the sea and the stars shining above me
Is where I dream and gaze upon you most happily
My beating heart flutters like a graceful butterfly
As loves first kiss touches my echoing sigh
And if by chance a moonbeam graces the sight of thee
You’ll glide through the night and enrapture me
Your essence swirls across the waves tonight
And I remember all of loves sweet delight
How you can swim back to me in ancient songs
A sweet melodious note where my love belongs
For you are but a wish upon a billion lovely stars
And I a dream of yours, as if a gift from far away Mars
