Waiting for fuel
No motivation,
No drive,
A goal in mind,
A road ahead
Yet no fuel for the car
That will take me there
Instead I sit,
Parked in complacency
Waiting for fuel
I was told not to take my foot off the gas,
But what if there’s no more?
What if pressing the gas only damages the tank?
Now I can only look out the windshield at the long winding road
I see obstacles in the distance,
from here they look massive,
And my fuel dries up again,
But I’ve come so far,
And I don’t plan on stopping forever
But right now I must stop
And wait for fuel
