Waiting For Evermore

I look within myself
Asking what are you waiting for
What is this longing
Why is your heart breaking more.

What am I missing
Why is there this void
Yet I am waiting
Why were my hopes destroyed

I lost my dreams
My hopes, were cast before
In a coracle that is
Near impossible to row

Adrift in a sea of waiting
Unable to see the shore
Yet wait is what I will do
If necessary forevermore.

Wonderful! It pays to wait and hope beyond doubts and frustrations. If we are waiting for someone we truly adored.
