Waiting for Christmas Eve By Franklin Price 12/14/2018 Thinking now of Christmas eve And that time so long ago Born was the Christ child then The Savior we would come to know Born in a lowly manger There was no room at the inn Born of the virgin Mary He came to save us from our sin Three wise men came to see Him They had traveled from afar Each brought a precious gift for Him They were guided by a star Shepherds came from miles around Angels sang on high They worshiped then in wonder When the Child began to cry It seems we've lost the sight of this As we move to Christmas eve It's about the glitz and presents Not in the message we receive If you wonder why we're in a place Where it's all about the me Look first of all to Christmas eve And I think that you will see
